True freshman Stephen Morris threw for 286 yards in his first college start and hit Leonard Hankerson for a 35-yard score with 37 seconds left Saturday, rallying Miami past Maryland 26-20. The touchdown capped an 82-yard drive that began with 3:06 left and Miami trailing 20-18. He was filling in for Jacory Harris, sidelined last week by a concussion. The Hurricanes (6-3, 4-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) kept alive their slim hopes in the league race and became bowl-eligible by beating the Terrapins (6-3, 3-2). Illinois Fighting Illini vs. Michigan Wolverines - Recap - November 06, 2010 - ESPN
Never in 131 years have so many points been scored in a Michigan game. And rarely has a victory against Illinois meant so much to the Wolverines. In the highest-scoring game in the storied history of Michigan football, the Wolverines' defense provided the game-winning play, stopping a 2-point conversion attempt in the third overtime for a 67-65 victory on Saturday. Michael Shaw scored on a 1-yard run, Tate Forcier threw a 2-point conversion to Junior Hemingway to put Michigan up 67-59. Mikel Leshoure ran for a touchdown to draw the Illini within two. On the conversion try, Michigan blitzed Nathan Scheelhaase and he could only flip a desperation pass incomplete.

Wisconsin Badgers vs. Purdue Boilermakers - Recap - November 06, 2010 - ESPN
Wisconsin wasn't worried when it trailed at halftime against upstart Purdue. After all, the Badgers were in a similar situation at Iowa two weeks earlier and came out with a win. So the Badgers skipped the motivational speech some teams might use. "We knew we were going to come out and play Wisconsin football and play smashmouth football, and that's what we do," running back Montee Ball said. "We had a chance to come in, sit down and talk about what the goals were and our mistakes and we got a chance to correct them, and we came out and performed."
Wisconsin's Record: 8-1
Purdue's Record: 4-5

Northwestern Wildcats vs. Penn State Nittany Lions - Recap - November 06, 2010 - ESPN
As camera flashes lit up Beaver Stadium, Joe Paterno got a ride to a victory celebration atop the broad arms and shoulders of two burly offensive linemen. Backup quarterback Matt McGloin threw for four scores, the defense pitched a second-half shutout and the Nittany Lions (6-3, 3-2 Big Ten) rallied from a three-touchdown deficit Saturday night to defeat Northwestern 35-21 and get the 83-year-old Paterno his latest milestone.
With backup tailback Stephfon Green proudly holding up a sign that read, "400. The Paterno Way," the coach ended his brief post-game speech to the blue-and-white denizens with remarks that got them even more fired up.
"People ask me why I've stayed here so long, and you know what, look around, look around," he said as the crowd roared. "Now that the celebration's over, let's go beat Ohio State!"
