In case you missed it, the bizarre on again/off again several year relationship between tOSU and Davonte Neal appears to be over.

Whatever the reason (and the list is lengthy), Urban is down to 1 prospect for the 2012 class with 1 opening on the roster - Stefon Diggs who will announce his decision Friday.

Also yet to be announced - Urban needs a total of 3 roster cuts, grey shirts, or medical red shirts to cut the roster to 82 if Diggs commits. There has been speculation about 3 medical red shirts, not even a rumor of cuts or grey shirts. These announcements may not come soon - Urban may wait to see if the entire class looks to make it to campus on time.

Still hoping that others see 2 results and a cause and effect as you do?

…or are you griping that players have to make the roster each year?

They all have guaranteed scholarships, guaranteeing their education – good luck trying to paint this a moral or ethical issue.

There is no sign there isn’t full disclosure – the other threshold brought up by the over signing sites.

My bad... wrong poster.

…to explain a little more, I do not believe an athletic scholarship should guarantee a roster spot.

I do believe full and early disclosure should be a requirement – this could be met by requiring coaches to stay under the 85 limit including NLOIs (if a player is asked to grey shirt, his NLOI is null and void under the current rules).

I believe th athlete should be guaranteed a 4/5 year scholarship in exchange for limiting his options to change programs.

I agree with most over signing web sites that this is sufficient to answer the ethical issues.
